I have always loved plums since I was a kid. I’m fond of tangy flavors that pack a punch! And they are great condiments for other dishes like in salads or as a snack!
Start the day with this healthy breakfast of eggs and avocado over toast!
You know, I love plums but I had never thought of having them alongside pancakes. I will have to try this because I love the tangy taste of plums next to the sweetness of a pancake with maple syrup, are you hungry yet?!
Brunch is that combo of breakfast and lunch and the dish is perfect cause we have salmon which would be lunch or later and eggs which typically is breakfast. I think whoever made up the word “brunch” couldn’t make up their mind which they liked best, breakfast or lunch. Either way, this dish looks delicious and it’s colorful with the tomatoes and bread on the side.
I love a good cucumber salad and mix it with apples for sweetness with Ranch dressing and some herbs and I’m happy!
Pesto is just made for pasta! This bowtie pasta dish just screams scrumptious and deliciousness!
I love casseroles and one reason is that I can make one out just anything I have in the frig. It’s a great meal when I don’t have time to shop because certain ingredients I always have on hand. And because I love veggies, whipping up a casserole is easy peasy!
Omelettes to me are like pizzas because they are so adaptable to whatever toppings you want. It’s like an blank canvas that can be as artistic as the painter wants. This one is the traditional version for breakfast with olives, tomatoes, cheese and of course eggs. If you want, you can add ham, bacon or sausage.
I think every now and again it’s okay to splurge on breakfast. French toast, bacon and cherries is that kind of dish that comes to mind.
Just in the previous post on Blackberries, here’s my all time favorite berry: Strawberries! I use them in just about everything I cook and even as a snack! When I weaned myself off eating sweets everyday, I replaced it with strawberries since the sweetness replaces my dessert cravings.
