In the Meantime, I Can Crochet a Washcloth

Crochet Washcloths

When I’m in between projects and need a break but still want to feel creative, I can crochet wash cloths. They’re cute, easy, and quick to make and I wrap them up in pretty bows and sell them in sets for my church’s library gift shop. While, I’m still learning to knit them, I know I can crochet them! LOL! I found a pattern on YouTube that I really like and I followed it, but altered it a bit and I decided to crochet the reverse single crochet with a white cotton yarn for the edging. I LOVE how they’re turning out!

Peaches N Creme YarnI picked up some Peaches and Creme Cotton yarn in two different colors from the local thrift store. I wanted a variegated color, so I got “freshly pressed” and “pansy”. I love the color changes in both yarns. With one skein, I was able to crochet a large and small size and then I learned how to tie a perfect bow from another video but instead of using ribbon, I used Red Heart Boutique yarn in this beautiful red color for the 1st set and I used a purple blend to tie up the 2nd set and other blends for other sets I made. I think I made a total of 5 or 6 sets.

Hopefully I can sell some soon! They’re available 2/pack for $2. If you’re ever interested in purchasing any of my library gift shop items and you’re in or near the Florence, Oregon area, visit here!
