Organizing my Desk with a New Crochet Basket

I learned the initial pattern on YouTube, but I altered it to suit me. The pattern calls for crocheting three strands of worsted weight yarn, but I decided to use four to make the basket more durable. I also altered the handles as well. I used an N size crochet hook and it’s an easy and fun pattern to work up. You use single crochet rows for the bottom and then switch to double crochets for the remainder of the basket and you crochet around to build the height. I used regular worsted weight yarn and mixed it with Caron Simply Soft as well. I’m really happy with how it came out, the yarns mixture are really soft too.

It’s fun being a crafter, cause you can save a lot of money making items you need rather than buying them, what a gift from God!
